Through strategic partnerships with local businesses, FundaVida helped five teens gain work-related internships.  The teens learn the importance of arriving to work on-time, handling customers and working with integrity. This year seven interns took the next step to full-time employment.

For the teens, FundaVida designates two nights a week for the “Teens’ Club.” Now featured in all three of our communities, this program offers a place where teens can discuss real life issues as well as find companionship with others seeking to make right choices. Highlights for the teens included a youth camp in the mountains, a service project working with poor families in Limon and a talent show displaying their amazing abilities.
